Microgreen Grow Kit Step-by-Step Instructions
Congratulations on your new Microgreens Grow Kit! Follow these easy step-by-step growing instructions to have your own fresh microgreens in 6-10 days.
The following greens will need to have their seeds presoaked in clean water before you can seed them. Place them in a glass of water and let them soak:
- Peas 12 hours
- Buckwheat 8 hours
- Sunflower 4 hours
STEP 1

Add soil to the grow tray with holes. |
STEP 2

Even the soil out with your hand and press down slightly. |
STEP 3

Place bottom tray on top of the soil and press down firmly to compact the soil. |
STEP 4

Use your water spray bottle to spray water on top of the soil until surface is wet. |
STEP 5

Take container with seeds and gently shake seeds evenly over the soil. |
STEP 6

Spray water over the seeds until they are wet. |
STEP 7

Place the bottom tray over the seeds and weight it down with a heavy object. Leave it to germinate for 2-3 days. Check back in 2 days. When you see your microgreens grown at least 1/4 inch tall, it's time to remove them from germination. |
STEP 8

Remove the weight, remove the bottom tray and place it under the grow tray. Spray water generously on your microgreens. Add some water in the bottom tray (about 1/4 cup). |
STEP 9

Place your Grow Kit in a sunny location or under bright light. Check daily and add about 1/4 cup of water in the bottom tray . You might need to add water more than once a day if the soil starts to get dry. If you need additional light, check links for small grow lights on Amazon at the bottom of this page. |

Depending on the microgreen variety, they will be ready to eat on day 6 to 10. Use scissors to cut your microgreens, and enjoy with your meals. What microgreen variety will you grow next? |
